How to Use EcoTrowel?

You will first need to clean up any dust or loose debris that may have settled on the surface.

Mix the two parts using a gentle kneading motion for about 2-3 minutes, until the color and texture is uniform throughout the batch.

Instructions for Application:

As soon as you have mixed the mixture, start applying EcoPoxy Ecotrowel using a trowel/putty knife.

From a fluffy edge up to a 1.3-centimeter (10.5-inch tall) peak

Working Temperature

The bath temperature should be between 15-30 degrees Celsius (60-90 degrees Fahrenheit).

*Note:

You will need to do more work after 24 hours. For bonding preparation, lightly sand all surfaces with 120-grit sandpaper. To remove any sanding dust, clean the entire surface with isopropyl/denatured alcohol.

Avoid eye and skin contact. If you do come in contact with skin, rinse your eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. If you come in contact with skin, rinse your eyes with water. Do not ingest it or encourage vomiting.

Drying Time

Cure time: 48 Hours @ 21degC (70degF), 50% RH, spread rate 2.5m2/L (100sf/gal).
To Touch: 6-8 Hours
Recoat Time: Minimum 6-8 hours
Foot Traffic: 24 Hours

Surface

EcoPoxy EcoTrowel is a structurally sound exterior or interior concrete, wood, metal, ceramic and terrazzo surface.

It can also be used over VCT tile, linoleum and blacktop driveways (with the proper primer), as well as many other flooring substrates.

EcoPoxy EcoTrowel, a water-based product, is free from VOCs (volatile organic compound compounds), solvents or toxic fumes. It can be used indoors under proper ventilation.

Shelf Life and Storage

Keep it out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry area. Avoid freezing. Properly stored, the product has a shelf life that lasts one year.
