President Biden said, “There is much more that Congress can do to support this effort, and it can do it now. They have offered many thoughts and prayers to Congressmen, but they haven’t passed a single new federal law to reduce gun violence. Enough prayers, time for action. “

President Biden announced a series of ghost weapon executive orders, a new DOJ report on arms trafficking, red flag laws and the selection of a permanent ATF director.

Republicans use their usual horror strategies to protect the second amendment, but none of Biden’s executive measures violate the second amendment. Everything President Biden does is try to keep guns out of the hands of violent mass shooters, like the one who killed five people in South Carolina on Wednesday.

President Biden was right. Republicans have been blocking measures to combat gun violence for decades. Biden does more than just talk. He wants to make America safer and save lives by addressing the gun violence epidemic.
