Lt. Governor Fairfax: “He treated me like George Floyd.”

Then, commenting on allegations against himself, he said, “It is reminiscent of a story in Virginia and in our nation where African Americans, and especially African American men, are considered guilty, inhumanly treated, not given due process, and their lives have been affected immediately and in some Cases taken away. ”

Fairfax continued, “And I think that in the interest of telling the truth to power here, we have a real world example where I was falsely accused in 2019 [of sexual assault]… Everyone on the stage demanded my immediate resignation, including Terry McAuliffe, minutes after the press release was issued. “

“He treated me like George Floyd, he treated me like Emmett Till, no due process, took my guilt immediately,” Fairfax said.

Terry McAuliffe was formerly the governor of Virginia, head of the DNC, and is very close to the Clintons. He co-chaired Bill’s 1996 campaign and Hillary’s 2008 campaign.

Governor Justin Fairfax was just equating Terry McAuliffe, who called on him to resign after alleged sexual assault, the way George Floyd and Emmett Till were treated for “lack of due process”.

Fairfax charged with sexual assault in two separate cases in 2019

CBS News reported in 2019 that Fairfax was charged with sexual assault on two separate incidents.

Fairfax denied the allegations at the time, saying he was simply the target of a smear campaign.

One accuser, Meredith Watson, alleged that Fairfax “did things that should not be done to anyone without their permission” after locking the door to her dormitory.

Watson said the alleged intimate interaction was “non-consensual” and believed she was “raped”.

CBS News reported that the other prosecutor, Vanessa Tyson, said Fairfax forced her to engage in non-consensual sexual acts.

George Floyd died during an arrest in Minneapolis in 2020 that sparked nationwide protests and street violence in the name of combating police brutality.

Emmett Till was murdered in 1955 for allegedly flirting with a white woman.

The husband and brother of the woman in question, Carolyn Bryant, tortured 14-year-old Till, removed his eye and shot him. His body was found tied up in barbed wire on the Tallahatchie River, Mississippi.

Bryant later admitted that her story wasn’t entirely true.
