Fox News pulled out of impeachment proceedings after explosive new insurgency material was exposed

In the past two days, the House’s impeachment managers have launched a devastating case against Donald Trump. Much of the success of this case was video footage.

A new video of the riot came out on Wednesday and it was pretty damned. However, this is unlikely to change the minds of Republican voters who watch Fox News. The network was cut off shortly before the film was shown.

The Daily Beasts Justin Baragona writes: “Fox News is now ahead of the impeachment process in which Democrats are currently rolling out terrifying, never-before-seen footage of the insurgent uprisings for them to air The Five, which now includes Jeanine Pirro. “

Jimmy Kimmel weighed in too and tweeted: “This impeachment process (which is incredibly powerful) runs live on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN etc etc – guess which “news” channel is not broadcasting it? “

Fox competitor Rachel Maddow had an interesting theory about why some Republican senators were so affected by the footage. Regarding James Lankford’s reaction, she tweeted:

“It occurs to me now that those of us who covered this story and the general public who followed it have seen some (but certainly not all) of this footage. GOP senators who consume primarily or exclusively Conservative media may see it for the first time. Especially remember because Fox News Channel didn’t attend the hearing today. There’s going to be a split between GOP senators who see all of this stuff and their grassroots voters whose news today was like culture war material about the NBA or the war on Christmas or whatever. “
