Pets of the Biden family
The Delaware Humane Society has said that Biden and his wife Jill Major first met while they were grooming him, and they adopted the dog just months before Biden announced his presidential election. Should Biden take office in January, Major will be the first rescue dog to ever live in the White House.
The Bidens also own a 12 year old German Shepherd named Champ, which they bought back in 2008. Jill had reportedly promised Biden at the time that they would have a puppy after Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, and they got Champ shortly afterwards.

Biden receives treatment
USA Today reported that Biden arrived at the Delaware Orthopedic Specialists in Newark just after 4 p.m. on Sunday and is staying there at that time.
At 78, Biden would be the oldest president to be actually inaugurated for the first time when he takes office in January. Concerns about his health have been raised during that campaign, and this ankle sprain certainly won’t do anything to allay fears about how physically fragile Biden may or may not be at his advanced age.
