In his autobiography, Barack Obama admitted that he read Marx and other leftists in college as a strategy for admitting girls.
Obama’s new memoir was released this week and sold nearly 900,000 copies in a single day.
Obama longed for “long-legged socialists” and “ethereal bisexuals”
In his recent memoir, Obama said that by the time he entered college in 1979 his political views were “half-hearted” because of his interest in books.
But then he admits that his “intellectual curiosity” during his student days “corresponded to the interests of different women [he] tried to get to know me “:
Marx and Marcuse, so I had something to say to the long-legged socialist who lived in my dorm; Fanon and Gwendolyn Brooks for the smooth-skinned sociology student who never gave me a second look; Foucault and Woolf for the ethereal bisexual who wore mostly black.
Obama then admitted that, despite his readings from Marx, Marcuse, Foucault and Woolf, his “pseudo-intellectualism proved largely worthless” and was “part of a series of loving but chaste friendships”.

His comments have been largely mocked online, particularly the phrase “ethereally bisexual”.
Mr Obama’s reticent misogyny isn’t ideal here, but this passage has potentially posted a thousand ‘ethereal bisexual’ Twitter bios, a powerful post

Has anyone tracked down the ethereal bisexual who wore mostly black and interviewed her about Obama’s war crimes?

Former president with hardcore left wing influences
It’s no surprise that Obama read Marx in college. Also, it may have sunk into Obama’s head not only because of the failure to take in women, but also possibly as an inspiration for policy making.
Frank Marshall Davis, a man mentioned “dozens of times” in his early memoirs, was not only his mentor, but also a card-carrying member of the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA).
According to Professor Paul Kengor, Davis was a powerful influence on Obama in his founding years.
According to Kengor, the strength of Davis’ loyalty to “Stalin’s Soviet Union was so evident and contrary to American interests that the Democrats who ran the Senate called him to Washington to testify in December 1956 to declare themselves.”
Davis wasn’t the only one of Obama’s influencers that was controversial.
Jeremiah Wright, the pastor who officiated at Obama’s wedding and his “spiritual leader for decades,” is known for holding America responsible for September 11th and for urging God to “condemn America for as long as she does so, as if she were god. ”
Wright himself was back in the news recently.
Georgia Senate Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock, a self-described “pro-choice pastor,” is also a fan of Wright.
According to Fox News, Warnock praised Wright’s infamous “God Damn America” sermon.
“No, no, no, God bless America, God damn America, that’s in the Bible to kill innocent people, God damn America for treating its citizens as less human, God damn America as long as it tries to act as if she were God and she is supreme, ”Wright is quoted as saying.
