Meghan McCain mocked President Donald Trump by posting a meme on Twitter portraying her late father in the media following Arizona’s planned victory for Biden.
“I like people who don’t lose Arizona”
Arizona, a hotly contested state in the presidential election, was finally called for Joe Biden by most sources on Thursday after the AP and Fox early called the state for Biden.
In response, Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late Senator John McCain, posted a meme on Twitter portraying her father, celebrating the apparent loss of President Trump. The meme includes a photo of John McCain titled “I Like People Who Don’t Lose Arizona.”

The meme refers to President Trump’s comments on McCain in July 2015, shortly after he announced that he would run for Republican candidacy for president.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said at the time. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who haven’t been captured, ”the president continued. McCain had spent five and a half years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

It’s not just Meghan McCain who would celebrate Vice President Biden’s obvious victory – the whole McCain family is firmly in the anti-Trump camp. Cindy McCain, the late Senator’s widow, will even be part of Biden’s transition team.
“I think my husband would be very excited,” Cindy McCain told CNN during an interview Monday night.
“We were good friends with the Bidens,” she added. “And all I know is that he looks down and says, ‘You did the right thing.'”
Cindy McCain also called on President Trump to allow the election “in an amiable, polite manner”, claiming it was “what is good for the country” rather than “what is right for our party”.
. @cindymccain to @TheView: “I would hope our President is doing exactly what is right for this country and giving in in a gracious, courteous manner. It’s good for the country. “

Last week, Mike Murphy, a former advisor to Senator McCain, said if Biden won in Arizona it would be Senator McCain’s revenge from Beyond the Grave, as pointed out by many others in the media and political class.
“A lot of Democrats were looking for a quick knockout in the Sun Belt, where Biden would take away a red state, Florida in particular, and that didn’t happen,” says Mike Murphy.
