The person main Trump’s election lawsuit caught COVID after the newest WH superspreader occasion

David Bossie, the man in charge of Donald Trump’s frivolous election lawsuit, has tested positive for COVID-19.

As CNN’s Kaitlan Collins noted earlier on Twitter, “David Bossie, who is charged with overseeing the legal challenges facing the Trump campaign in the election, has a coronavirus.”

Department not great: David Bossie, who is supposed to oversee the Trump campaign legal challenges in the election, has coronavirus, confirms CNN. He was at the campaign headquarters and traveled a lot.

Bossie joins White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and HUD Secretary Ben Carson, who also tested positive for the virus last week.

As MSNBC’s Ali Velshi pointed out on Monday evening, the three positive tests appear to be linked to a recent White House function.

“The potential superspreader event this time around was possibly a largely mask-free election night party at the White House,” Velshi said.

Velshi said:

We only have one president at a time and our current president has 72 days to do what he wants with whatever office he holds. As the president-elect formulates a plan to fight COVID, a second major COVID outbreak grips the White House and Trump’s campaign. The potential superspreader event this time around was possibly a largely mask-free election night party at the White House. Those who tested positive now include Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson and David Bossie, the man supposed to lead the Trump campaign litigation to reverse election results. He is now excluded from his COVID diagnosis.

Team Trump brought this up

The irony is that if Donald Trump had taken this virus seriously from January when it hit the American shores, he might not have lost the election to Joe Biden that much.

Of course that didn’t happen. Now, Trump has not only lost the election, but is desperate to sue to dismiss the results. And those efforts are being carried out by a man who just tested positive for coronavirus.

While no one wants this virus in anyone, it’s hard to deny that the Trump administration and campaign took all of this on.
