Jim Jordan Grills Fauci On Coronavirus Unfold And Democrats Encouraging Protests

Representative Jim Jordan grilled Dr Anthony Fauci on the recent protests and riots, demanding an answer as to whether they spread coronavirus.

Fauci “Not In A Position” To Recommend Actions On Protests

Fauci was interrogated by Representative Jordan during a Congressional hearing. Jordan asked Fauci whether protests would spread the coronavirus, noting that there were half a million people out on the streets on June 6th alone.

“Crowding together particularly when you’re not wearing a mask contributes to the spread of the virus,” Fauci replied in a general tone, deliberately obfuscating his answer. Jordan quickly shot back, asking therefore whether the protests should be limited, but Fauci declared that this wasn’t “relevant,” as he is not “in a position” to recommend what the government should do.

“I think I would leave that to people who have more of a position to do that,” Fauci argued, but Jordan noted that he has “opined” on all sorts of opinions, but not on protesting. Fauci continued to make broad statements about the dangers of crowd and masks, but kept avoiding the question.

Why Are Protests Not Limited, But Churches And Gyms Are, Jordan Asks

People have been limited going to church, but protests are not limited, Jordan argued, so why is there any difference there?

“This is something that deliberately impacts the spread of the virus and I’m asking your position on the protests,” he noted.

Jordan went on to give examples, such as gyms, where people have been arrested for breaking lockdown regulations, but Fauci continued to ignore the specifics, all the way until the time was up.

President Trump later praised Jordan for his grilling of Fauci in a tweet.

“Great job by Jim Jordan, and also some very good statements by Tony Fauci,” the President said. “Big progress being made!”

Why No Straight Answer?

I think it’s pretty clear what happened here. Fauci could never give a straight answer on the specifics of the protests, but has been willing to give his opinions on shutting down every other aspect of our daily lives, despite the protests being violent! Ask yourself – why has he responded this way?
